Can I pick up my FedEx package that is sitting at their destination location?

An article about FedEx and the laws related to picking up packages that have been delivered:

When you receive a package from FedEx, you are legally required to pick it up from the delivery location. However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. If the package has been delivered to a business or residence, you are not legally required to pick it up.

Additionally, if the package is being held for customs or inspection, you are not allowed to pick it up. If you cannot pick up the package, you may want to contact FedEx to see if they can drop it off at a nearby location for you.
