When you receive your package from the USPS distribution center, there may be a few things you need to do in order to pick it up:
– Confirm the package is actually from the distribution center. If you don’t have a tracking number, it may not be from the distribution center.
– Check the package for damage. If it appears to have been damaged in transit, please notify the USPS.
– Verify the package is for you. Make sure the package is addressed to you and that the address is correct.
– If you are picking up the package for the first time, you will need to provide the distribution center’s ID number. This number can be found on the bottom of the package.
– If you are picking up the package for the second time or more, you will need to provide a photo ID. This photo ID can be a driver’s license, passport, or government-issued ID.
