Can you get keys copied at CVS?

Adding a new key to your computer is an important step in protecting your data. If you ever lose your original key, you will need to get a new one copied from your CVS account.

To copy your key from your CVS account, enter the following command:

cvs keys -d your_account_name

This will create a file called “copy.pem” in the same directory as your key.

You can then copy this file to a safe place and keep it handy in case you need to replace your key. .

You can also use the cvs update command to replace your key. Enter the following command:

cvs update -d your_account_name

This will replace your key with the latest version.
