Do DoorDash drivers get paid hourly?

DoorDash is a delivery service that allows customers to order food from restaurants. The company has over two thousand restaurants across the United States and Canada that offer delivery.

DoorDash drivers are independent contractors who are not employees of the company.

DoorDash drivers are not paid minimum wage, nor are they paid overtime. However, DoorDash does offer a delivery bonus and a commission pay rate.

The delivery bonus is equivalent to $10 per order and is paid out after a driver has completed a certain number of delivery orders. The commission pay rate is equal to 50% of the delivery order value.
