How do you make KFC biscuits from scratch?

KFC Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 cUPS all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Butter a baking sheet.
2. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Add to butter mixture, and mix until just blended. With the mixer on low speed, add milk and butter pieces, mixing just until blended.
4. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, or until cookies are golden brown. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
