Which Rite Aid stores were bought by Walgreens?

The Rite Aid Corporation, Inc. announced on September 27, 2016 that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. for $17.2 billion in cash and stock.

This includes the purchase of all of Rite Aid’s outstanding common stock and the assumption of Rite Aid’s debt. As a result of this acquisition, Rite Aid will be merged into Walgreens and approximately 2,000 stores will be closed.
