Who owns Tim Hortons in Canada?

Tim Hortons, one of the most popular Canadian coffee chains, is owned by Restaurant Brands International (RBI). Founded in 1964, Tim Hortons is currently present in over 30 countries and has over 3,500 restaurants worldwide.

RBI is a multinational corporation that owns a variety of restaurants, including Burger King, Popeyes, and Wendy’s. It is headquartered in Oakville, Ontario.

In 2015, Tim Hortons announced that it would be moving its headquarters from Hamilton, Ontario to Oakville. This move was met with criticism from some residents of Hamilton, who argued that the company was taking away jobs and tax revenues from the city.

Despite the controversy, the move went ahead and the company announced that it had created 300 new jobs in Oakville.
