Will Petco take my guinea pig?

Are you thinking of getting a guinea pig? They’re adorable, cuddly, and make great pets.

But before you run out to your local pet store, there are a few things you should know. One of those things is whether or not the store will take your guinea pig when you’re done with it.

At first glance, it may seem like Petco would be a great place to take your guinea pig. They sell them, after all.

But the truth is that Petco does not accept returns on guinea pigs. So if you decide you no longer want your guinea pig, or if it becomes sick and you can’t care for it anymore, Petco will not take it back.

That doesn’t mean you have to get rid of your guinea pig. There are other options for finding it a new home.

You could give it to a friend or family member, or take it to a local shelter. There are also rescues specifically for guinea pigs that would be happy to take your pet in.

In short, Petco will not take your guinea pig, but there are plenty of other options for finding it a new home.
