One question that we often get asked is – ‘Does Ace Hardware recycle paint?’
The answer is YES! All Ace Hardware locations recycle paint. In fact, we are one of the largest recyclers of paint in the United States.
Here’s how it works:
You can bring any unwanted, leftover paint to your local Ace store. We will then safely dispose of the paint and properly recycle it.
We accept all types of paint, including oil-based paint, latex paint, and spray paint. We also accept empty paint cans (with the lids off).
Please note: We cannot accept opened cans of paint or cans with wet paint in them. For safety reasons, these cans must be properly disposed of at a local household hazardous waste facility.
