How does Walmart in store pickup work?

Walmart In-Store Pickup is a free service that allows you to order items from Walmart.com and pick them up at your local Walmart store. All you need is a Walmart.com account and a cellphone with the Walmart app.

Here’s how it works:

1. Shop for eligible items. Look for the In-Store Pickup icon on product pages.

2. Place your order and select In-Store Pickup at checkout.

We’ll send you an email when your order is ready for pickup. This can take up to four hours.

3. Head to the store and look for the In-Store Pickup signs when you arrive. Go to the designated area and give the associate your name and order number or scan the barcode in your email.

4. That’s it! We’ll load your car for you.
