Rite Aid blood pressure machines have been found to be inaccurate in the past. A study published in the “Journal of the American College of Cardiology” in 2009 found that the machines were not accurate enough to be used in clinical settings.
The study’s authors recommended that the machines be used only for research purposes. Another study published in “Hypertension” in 2014 found that the machines were not accurate enough to be used as a diagnostic tool.
