Trader Joe’s is a chain of grocery stores that started in Southern California in the early 1960s. The company has since expanded to locations across the United States, including several in New Jersey. As of 2019, there are nine Trader Joe’s stores in New Jersey.
The first Trader Joe’s in New Jersey opened in Marlton in 2009. Since then, the chain has rapidly expanded throughout the state. There are now locations in Cherry Hill, West Orange, Princeton, Westwood, Madison, Morristown, and two in Hoboken.
Trader Joe’s is known for its unique selection of food items, as well as its low prices. The store also offers a wide variety of private label products. Private label products are made by Trader Joe’s but are not available at other retailers.
