As one of the largest home improvement retailers in the United States, Lowe’s is a familiar sight in many states. The company has over 2,000 stores across the country, but is it present in all 50 states?
The answer is no, Lowe’s is not in every state. The company has a strong presence in the eastern and southern states, but there are some states in the Midwest and western states where you won’t find a Lowe’s store.
Lowe’s first opened its doors in North Carolina in 1946 and since then has expanded to locations in 35 states. Some of the most recent states to get a Lowe’s store include Alaska, Hawaii, and Montana.
While Lowe’s isn’t present in every state, the company does have plans to expand its reach. In the coming years, we may see Lowe’s stores popping up in more states across the country.
