The Dairy Queen chain has been around for over 65 years and during that time, they have offered a variety of different flavors of cones, butterscotch being one of them. However, as of recently, Dairy Queen has discontinued the butterscotch dipped cone.
Some fans of the cone believe that this is due to competition from other ice cream chains that have more unique flavors, such as mint chocolate chip, while others claim that the butterscotch flavor was just not selling well. No matter the reason, Dairy Queen’s butterscotch dipped cone will no longer be available for purchase.
