Can I get a photo ID at CVS?

If you are under the age of 18, you need a photo ID to purchase any item at CVS. If you are 18 or older, you can present a valid driver’s license, passport, military ID, or state-issued ID card to purchase most items.

Some exceptions may apply, so be sure to check the product’s label.

If you cannot provide a photo ID, you may be able to purchase some items with a credit or debit card, or with cash if you have a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID card. However, many products have restrictions that apply only to those with a photo ID.

So be sure to read the product’s label before making your purchase.

Finally, if you need to purchase something but do not have a photo ID, you can ask a store associate to help you identify an alternate form of ID that meets the store’s requirements.
