Can I get HPV vaccine at CVS?

Parental concerns about the HPV vaccine have prompted some pharmacies to stop selling the vaccine. However, most pharmacies sell the vaccine and it is available at most pharmacies.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that girls aged 11 or 12 receive the HPV vaccine. The vaccine is also recommended for girls aged 9 to 26 who have not received the vaccine yet, or for girls aged 9 to 13 who have not completed the series.

The HPV vaccine is typically given in three doses. The first dose is given when a girl is aged 11 or 12, the second dose is given when she is aged 13 or 14, and the third dose is given when she is aged 16 or 17.
