Can I use my WIC card at Walgreens?

WIC is a federal program that provides food assistance to pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children under the age of 18 who are eligible. In most cases, you can use your WIC card at most grocery stores, convenience stores, and certain pharmacies.

However, some pharmacies may only accept WIC vouchers that have been specifically designed for that pharmacy. So, if you want to use your WIC card at a pharmacy other than the one that the WIC voucher was designed for, you’ll need to ask the pharmacist if they will accept the voucher.
