To see if online ordering is available in your area, visit Safeway.com and enter your zip code into the “Find a Store” search tool. If online ordering is available, you’ll see a link to “Shop Online” on the store’s page. Click on this link to start shopping.
Safeway offers a wide selection of groceries for you to choose from, and you can filter your search by department, item type, or brand. Once you’ve found the items you want to purchase, add them to your cart and checkout when you’re finished shopping. You can either choose to pick up your order at the store or have it delivered to your home.
If you choose to pick up your order at the store, you’ll need to select a date and time for pickup. Most orders are ready within four hours, but some may take up to 24 hours. Once your order is ready, you’ll receive an email or text notification letting you know it’s time to pick up your groceries.
If you choose to have your order delivered, Safeway offers delivery service seven days a week in select areas. Delivery fees start at $9.95, and you’ll need to enter your delivery address and select a delivery time slot during checkout. Your order will be delivered within the selected time slot on the day of your choice.
