The company grew rapidly and by 1969, they had opened their first restaurant outside of California, in Phoenix, Arizona.

The company went public in 1984 and began to expand outside of the United States. In 1992, the company opened its first restaurant in the United Kingdom.

In 1995, the company opened its first restaurant in Mexico.

Today, Taco Bell is one of the world’s largest fast food restaurant chains. It has 6,500 restaurants worldwide.
