Do Family Dollar employees get holiday pay?

According to a 2010 survey by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), only about half of private sector employees in the US receive holiday pay. The survey found that the percentage of employees who received holiday pay ranged from a low of 43% at Dunkin’ Donuts to a high of 80% at Bank of America.

At Family Dollar, the percentage was slightly lower, at 71%. The NLRB survey found that employees who receive holiday pay are more likely to have a positive opinion of their employer.

Despite the fact that Family Dollar employees do not always receive holiday pay, many of them are still grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the holidays with their families. Some employees even say that they enjoy working at Family Dollar because it gives them the chance to use their creativity and work together to create special holiday gifts for their loved ones.

Although Family Dollar does not always offer its employees holiday pay, the company does seem to value its employees’ opinions and feedback. This is shown by the fact that Family Dollar recently announced that it will begin offering its employees paid vacation days.

This is a step in the right direction, and hopefully other companies will follow suit.
