Does CVS give pet shots?

Canine Vaccine Shops

Veterinarians are usually quite familiar with the different pet vaccine stores in town. However, there is one store that may be unfamiliar to some pet owners – CVS.

CVS is a great resource for pet owners who are looking for inoculations and other medications for their furry friends.

Though CVS is not the only store that offers pet vaccinations, it is one of the most convenient. You can find both common and specialty vaccines at CVS.

In addition, you can also find pet treats, flea and tick products, and other items that your pet may need while you are away.

When you bring your pet to CVS, please be sure to ask about their pet Shots policy. Some of the vaccines that are available at CVS may require that your pet be vaccinated for Bordetella (kennel cough) or Distemper.

If your pet has not been vaccinated for these diseases, you will need to get them vaccinated before bringing them in to be vaccinated.

Finally, it is always a good idea to have your pet examined by a veterinarian before any major surgery or when there is a change in their health. This includes anything that may be related to their vaccinations, such as a change in their behavior or health.
