Does CVS sell colored contact lenses?

Contact lenses are available in a variety of colors, but some people are concerned that the colors in contact lenses may be harmful. A study published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives in 2006 examined the toxicity of contact lenses made with five different colors of dye. The study found that all five colors of dye were toxic to cells in the lab, and that each color caused different types of toxicity. The study did not find any evidence that any particular color of contact lens was more harmful than any other.

However, the study did not examine whether colored contact lenses are actually harmful to people. Therefore, it is not known for sure whether CVS sells colored contact lenses. However, based on the study, it is not likely that colored contact lenses are harmful to people.
