Dollar General is a household name when it comes to selling products at low prices, but what about their paper towels? Are they really as cheap as they seem?
When it comes to paper towels, Dollar General falls short in comparison to other retail giants. While Dollar General does sell a pack of paper towels for just $1, their paper towels are significantly smaller than their competitors.
For example, a pack of Quilted Northern Ultra Soft Paper Towels at Walmart costs just $5 and contains 48 paper towels. That’s almost four times as many paper towels as what you’ll get at Dollar General.
While Dollar General’s paper towels may be smaller, they are still effective. In fact, Consumer Reports rates Quilted Northern Ultra Soft Paper Towels as the best paper towels on the market.
However, if you’re looking for a more affordable option, Walmart is a better choice than Dollar General.
