Does Dollar General have surveillance?

Dollar General has been the subject of several lawsuits alleging that the company has engaged in surveillance of its employees. In one case, a Dollar General employee alleged that the company had installed cameras in the bathroom and locker room areas of the store in order to monitor employee activities.

In another case, a Dollar General employee alleged that the company had installed cameras in the store’s storage areas in order to monitor employee activities. In both of these cases, the companies denied the allegations and claimed that the cameras were for security purposes.

While it is impossible to know for certain whether Dollar General engages in surveillance of its employees, the allegations make it clear that the company takes security concerns seriously. If the allegations are true, then Dollar General is likely using surveillance to monitor employee behavior and to ensure that employees are following company policies.

While the use of surveillance is not without its risks, it is likely that the cameras are being used in a manner that is consistent with company policy and law.
