Ikea is a Swedish furniture retailer with stores in many countries around the world. Some of its furniture is available in trundle beds.
Although Ikea does not explicitly advertise its trundle beds as such, they may be considered trundle beds under the furniture retailer’s definition. Ikea sells a trundle bed that is advertised as a bed for two children.
The bed has a mattress and two side tables that can be pushed together to create a larger bed. If the bed is pushed all the way to the wall, it can accommodate up to four children.
Ikea does not have any trundle beds that are specifically designed for adults. However, many of the beds in Ikea’s furniture lineup can be converted into trundle beds.
This means that an adult could sleep on the bottom bed in a trundle bed, and the children could sleep on the mattress on top.
