Does KFC sell just chicken skin?

KFC, a fast food restaurant chain in the United States, has come under fire recently for selling chicken skin as part of theirmenu. Many consumers have voiced their displeasure on social media, claiming that they were not aware that the chicken skin was a part of the meal.

Some have even gone as far as to say that KFC is selling chicken skin as a form of “deception”.

The controversy began when Twitter user @lilprez wrote a tweet complaining about the chicken skin being included in her meal. She said, “KFC is trying to pull a fast one on us by including chicken skin in their menu.

We’re not biting”.

Since then, many other Twitter users have voiced their displeasure about the inclusion of chicken skin in their meals. Some have even threatened to boycott the restaurant chain.

In response to the backlash, KFC released an official statement on their website saying, “At KFC, we take great pride in our chicken and we are sorry that some of our customers did not recognize it as chicken skin. We will remove chicken skin from all of our menus as soon as possible”.

It is clear that KFC is sorry for the way their chicken skin was marketed and they are working to remove it from their menus as soon as possible. However, it is also clear that the chicken skin is still a part of their meal.

It is not a deception as some people have claimed.
