The first Target store was opened in Roseville, Minnesota in 1962 while the parent company was still called the Dayton Company. In 2000, the Dayton Company was renamed the Target Corporation.
Target does not do international shipping, however they have an international website that offers shipping to many countries worldwide. On their website, they have a list of countries that they ship to as well as a list of countries that they do not ship to.
