Does Trader Joe’s ever bring back discontinued items?
Trader Joe’s is known for being pretty decisive when it comes to discontinuing products. In fact, the grocery chain has a whole page on its website devoted to answering the question, “What happens when Trader Joe’s discontinues a product?”
The short answer is that once a product is discontinued at Trader Joe’s, it’s gone for good. “We know it can be hard to say goodbye to your favorites,” the website says. “But please know that when we make the decision to discontinue a product, it’s because we feel we can no longer deliver the quality our customers deserve.”
So if you’re hoping to see a discontinued item make a comeback, you’re out of luck. But on the bright side, there are always new products being introduced at Trader Joe’s (like these 15 that were just released in September). So even though you might have to say goodbye to your favorite cookie butter, there’s always something new and exciting to try.
