Does UPS notarize for free?

There is no such thing as a free lunch, and that is especially true when it comes to using a third-party service like UPS to notarize documents. In fact, the company charges a nominal fee for its services, which is why many people opt to use it.

However, not all documents require notarization. If you only need to have a document notarized once and you don’t need to keep a copy, then you can likely skip the notary fee and just pay the shipping fee.

Additionally, if you’re only notarizing a few documents a year, then it may not be worth the hassle to pay for the notary service.
