Does Wendy’s have a dollar menu?

Wendy’s is an American international fast food restaurant chain founded by Dave Thomas on November 15, 1969, in Columbus, Ohio. The company moved its headquarters to Dublin, Ohio, on January 29, 2006.

As of December 31, 2018, Wendy’s was the world’s third-largest hamburger fast-food chain with 6,711 locations, following Burger King and McDonald’s. On April 24, 2008, the company announced a restructuring plan to sell off approximately 1/3 of its company-owned locations and franchise the rest. This was part of Wendy’s plan to boost its profitability.

Wendy’s menu consists primarily of hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, french fries, Frosties (their trademarked frozen dessert), soft drinks, and desserts. When Dave Thomas died in 2002, he had two requirements for his epitaph: that it mention he founded Wendy’s and that it have a “North Star.”

The North Star refers to a guiding principle Dave Thomas believed in: “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. “

So does Wendy’s have a dollar menu? Unfortunately, they got rid of their dollar menu in 2013. However, they do have a “Value Menu” with items ranging from $0.99 – $1.19.
