It is always frustrating when you have a bad experience with a company or one of its employees. Maybe your order was not filled correctly at the Safeway grocery store, or perhaps the customer service representative was rude to you on the phone. Whatever the case may be, if you feel that you have been wronged by Safeway or one of its employees, you have the right to file a complaint.
There are a few different ways that you can file a complaint against Safeway or a Safeway employee. The first way is to contact Safeway customer service directly. You can do this by calling 1-800- Safeway (1-800-723-3929). When you call this number, you will be given the option to speak to a customer service representative. Once you are speaking with a representative, explain your situation and why you are calling.
The representative will then take down your information and forward your complaint to the appropriate department.
Another way to file a complaint is to visit the Safeway website and fill out the online contact form. To do this, go to www.Safeway.com and scroll to the bottom of the page. Under the “Contact Us” heading, click on the “Email Us” link. On the next page, select “Customer Service” from the drop-down menu and fill out the rest of the form with your personal information and details about your complaint. Once you have submitted the form, someone from Safeway customer service will get back to you via email.
The last way to file a complaint is by writing a letter and mailing it to Safeway corporate headquarters. The address is:
Safeway Inc.
Pleasanton Support Center
5918 Stoneridge Mall Road
Pleasanton, CA 94588
When writing your letter, be sure to include your name, address, phone number, and email address so that Safeway can get in touch with you if necessary. Also, be clear about what your complaint is and why you are unhappy with Safeway or its employees.
Regardless of which method you choose to file your complaint, someone from Safeway should get back to you within a few days to let you know that they have received your complaint and are working on resolving the issue.
