How do I know if a PayPal email is legit?

When you sign up for PayPal, you are given a user ID and password. You are also given a PayPal email address.

PayPal uses this email address to keep you updated on important PayPal matters, such as new features or changes to our service.

To make sure that your PayPal email is legit, you can check the following:

1. Verify your email address.

After you sign up for PayPal, PayPal will send you an email that asks you to confirm your email address. Please enter your verified email address in the “Confirm Email” field and click the “Confirm” button.

2. Check the “Sign In” button.

If you are not signed in, you can sign in by clicking the “Sign In” button in the upper-right corner of the PayPal website.

3. Check the “User ID” and “Password” fields.

If you have not changed your User ID and Password, they will be the same as the ones you used to sign up for PayPal.

4. Check the “Verified” checkbox.

If you have verified your email address, you will see the “Verified” checkbox in the “Confirm Email” field.

5. Review your PayPal account.

After you sign in, you will see your PayPal account information in the “My Account” section. If you have any questions about your PayPal account, please click the “My Account” link and then the “Forgot Your Password?” link to reset your password.

6. Contact PayPal if you have any questions.

If you have any questions about your PayPal account or your verified email address, please contact PayPal at [email protected].
