How long does it take Rite Aid to fill a prescription?

When a patient at Rite Aid needs to fill a prescription, the pharmacist will search for the medication in Rite Aid’s pharmacy inventory and find a generic equivalent if one exists. If the medication is not found in Rite Aid’s pharmacy inventory, the pharmacist may order the medication from a pharmacy in the company’s network.

Once the medication is obtained, the pharmacist will fill the prescription and give it to the patient. It typically takes Rite Aid a few days to fill a prescription.
