How many Best Buy stores are closing?

Best Buy stores are closing all over the country. In the past year, we’ve seen stores close in California, Texas, Florida, Illinois, and even Best Buy’s home state of Minnesota. The company has been struggling to keep up with online retailers like Amazon, and has been forced to make changes in an attempt to stay afloat.

So far this year, Best Buy has announced the closure of 43 stores worldwide. Most of these closures have been in the United States, but there have also been store closings in Canada and Mexico.

While this may seem like a lot of stores, it’s actually a relatively small number compared to the total number of Best Buy locations worldwide. There are currently more than 1,400 Best Buy stores in operation.

The company has said that the store closings are part of a “normal course of business” and that they are not indicative of any larger problems at the company. However, many analysts believe that this is just the beginning for Best Buy. As consumers continue to do more shopping online, it’s likely that we’ll see even more Best Buy stores closing their doors in the years to come.
