To compare the prices of Aldi and Ruler Foods, we took a basket of common grocery items and compared the prices at both stores. The items we chose were:

Ruler Foods: (prices may vary by location)$2.68 for bread, $0.77 for milk, $0.50 for eggs, $0.79 for butter, $1.50 for cereal, $0.99 for orange juice, $1.49for chicken breasts, $1.49for ground beef ,$0.99for potatoes ,$0.,69for bananas.

The verdict:

After comparing the prices of these 10 items at both Aldi and Ruler Foods, we found that Aldi was cheaper by an average of 20%.
