Is Asda Mobile moving to Vodafone?

Asda Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in the United Kingdom, operated by the telecoms division of British retailer Asda. It was launched in March 2013 using the EE network.

In September 2018, Asda Mobile announced that it would be moving to the Vodafone network from early 2019. The move followed Asda’s acquisition by Walmart, which also owns Vodafone US MVNO TracFone.

The switch to Vodafone will give Asda Mobile customers access to Vodafone’s 4G network, as well as its Roam-further destinations at no extra cost.

Asda Mobile customers will be able to keep their existing number and will not need to do anything to prepare for the switch.
