Baker’s is an independently owned grocery store chain in the United States. The company was founded in 1902 in Cincinnati, Ohio, by William Baker. At the time, Baker’s was the first grocery store in the city.
In 2017, the company had over 1,700 stores across the country. Kroger is the largest supermarket chain in the United States, and it owns a minority stake in Baker’s.
