This particular Blizzard was later featured on the television show MythBusters. In 2010, a Dairy Queen in Decatur, Georgia served a Blizzard that had been turned UPSide down. This particular Blizzard was later featured on the television show Impractical Jokers.

In 2013, a Dairy Queen in Knoxville, Tennessee served a Blizzard that had been turned UPSide down. This particular Blizzard was later featured on the television show Jimmy Kimmel Live!. In all of these cases, the Dairy Queen employees served the UPSide down Blizzards without any knowledge of what was happening. It is unknown why these Blizzards were turned UPSide down, but it is likely that it was an accident. In each of these cases, the UPSide down Blizzards were quickly served and no one was harmed. It is unclear whether or not Dairy Queen is supposed to turn the Blizzards UPSide down, but it is likely an accident that occurs from time to time.
