Is DoorDash losing business?

DoorDash is a food delivery company that offers customers the ability to order food from participating restaurants through its app. The company has been in operation since 2013 and has grown rapidly since its inception.

In 2018, DoorDash announced that it had reached 2 million restaurants across the United States.

However, recent reports suggest that the business is experiencing significant declines in its customer base. In March 2019, Fortune reported that DoorDash’s customer base had decreased by 19% compared to the previous year.

Additionally, Business Insider reported in May 2019 that DoorDash’s customer base had decreased by 34% compared to the previous year. This decline in customer base may be indicative of several factors, including the growing popularity of food delivery platforms like Uber Eats and Instacart.

Despite these indications of declining business, DoorDash has not made any announcements about seeking to discontinue its services. The company has instead shifted its focus towards expanding its operations into new markets and developing new products to address customer needs.

Nevertheless, DoorDash’s declining customer base may pose a challenge for the company in the future.
