Is JetBlue part of American Airlines?

JetBlue Airways Corporation is a private American airline headquartered in New York City. It is a subsidiary of Blue Origin LLC, founded by Jeff Bezos. The airline operates scheduled and charter flights. JetBlue was founded in 1999 by David Neeleman and Marc Randolph, and began operations in 2000.

JetBlue is a member of the Oneworld airline alliance, and operates a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. In 2013, JetBlue was ranked as the tenth most profitable airline in the United States by Air Transport World magazine. On February 13, 2019, JetBlue announced they would be merging with American Airlines.
