Is Lidl coming to Sterling VA?

Lidl, the German-based grocery store, is coming to Sterling, Virginia. The company has purchased a 9.7-acre parcel of land on which it plans to build a 36,000-square-foot store. This will be Lidl’s first store in Loudoun County and its fourth in Virginia.

Lidl is known for its low prices and wide selection of both food and non-food items. The company has been expanding rapidly in the United States over the past few years, and now has more than 70 stores in nine states on the East Coast.

The Sterling store is scheduled to open in late 2019. It will be located at 46300 Potomac Run Plaza, near the intersection of Route 7 and Route 28.

Lidl’s arrival in Sterling is good news for shoppers who are looking for a bargain. The company’s prices are typically 20% to 30% lower than those of other grocery stores. And with its wide selection of both food and non-food items, Lidl is sure to become a popular destination for shopping in Loudoun County.
