There has been a lot of speculation lately about whether or not Publix will be coming to Seneca, SC. While there is no official word from Publix yet, there are a few things that we know for sure.
First, a Publix store has been approved for construction in Clemson, SC, which is just a short drive from Seneca. Second, the Clemson store is slated to open in 2020, which means that it is still in the early stages of planning and construction. Third, there is a significant amount of interest from the Seneca community in having a Publix store located in their town.
So what does all of this mean? It is difficult to say for sure, but it seems likely that Publix will eventually make its way to Seneca.
The company has shown interest in expanding into the Upstate of South Carolina, and the Seneca community has made it clear that they would like to see a Publix store in their town. Only time will tell for sure, but it seems like Publix coming to Seneca is only a matter of time.
