Rite Aid is a retail pharmacy chain in the United States. In February 2019, the company announced that it would be changing their logo.
The new logo is simpler, with a red and white “A”, and the company’s name in smaller text below. The company has stated that the new logo is “more contemporary and reflective of the company’s core values”.
Some analysts have stated that the change is a move away from the company’s past. However, Rite Aid has stated that the new logo is “simple, modern, and easy to remember”.
The company has also stated that the new logo “represents our aspiration to be the best we can be”.
The new logo is still being tested out, and may not be used throughout the entirety of Rite Aid’s chain. However, the company has stated that it is “aiming to have the new logo in place across all channels and products” by the end of 2019.
