Is Stamps Com part of USPS?

Stamps.com is an online marketplace that sells postage stamps and postal products. The company is not a part of the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Stamps.com is a subsidiary of the private equity firm The Carlyle Group.

In November 2013, the USPS announced that it would stop selling stamps through Stamps.com.

This move was in response to the company’s decision to stop selling USPS-branded products and to start selling its own private-label products. The USPS said that it would continue to sell stamps through its own website and physical retail stores.

In December 2013, Stamps.com filed a lawsuit against the USPS. The company argued that the USPS’s decision to stop selling stamps through its website and physical retail stores violated its contract with the USPS.com also argued that the USPS was wrong to start selling its own private-label products.

The lawsuit is still pending.
