Myrtle Beach is a popular vacation destination for many reasons. The beautiful beaches, the variety of activities, and the warm weather are all appealing factors.
Another big draw for vacationers is the abundance of great restaurants. Myrtle Beach has everything from fast food to five-star dining, and everything in between. One type of restaurant that is missing from the Myrtle Beach area, however, is a Trader Joe’s.
Trader Joe’s is a popular grocery store chain that specializes in selling organic and natural foods. The chain has been growing rapidly in recent years, and now has over 500 locations across the United States. Many people who are familiar with Trader Joe’s love the store for its great selection and reasonable prices.
So why isn’t there a Trader Joe’s in Myrtle Beach? It’s hard to say for sure.
One possibility is that the area simply isn’t large enough to support a store. The Myrtle Beach area is home to about 400,000 people, which is not a lot compared to other cities that have Trader Joe’s stores. Additionally, there are already several other similar stores in the area, such as Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods.
Another possibility is that Trader Joe’s has tried to open a store in Myrtle Beach but has been unsuccessful. The company has been known to be picky about where they open new stores, and they may have looked at the Myrtle Beach market and decided it wasn’t a good fit for their brand.
Whatever the reason, it doesn’t look like there will be a Trader Joe’s in Myrtle Beach anytime soon. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t still plenty of great places to eat in the area, though!
