The debate over whether or not there is only one Hawaiian Chick-Fil-A has been raging on for years. The general consensus is that there is only one restaurant that bears this namesake, but that is not to say that there are not other locations that carry the Chick-Fil-A name. So, does the existence of multiple locations mean that the restaurant is not actually Hawaiian?
Not necessarily. Chick-Fil-A’s history dates back to 1946, and the first location was in Atlanta.
So, it is possible that there are other locations that are actually Hawaiian, but just do not mention that fact on their menus or signage. However, given the popularity of the Hawaiian-themed menu items at the only true Hawaiian Chick-Fil-A, it is likely that most consumers would be able to tell the difference.
