Is Tim Hortons on the TSX?

Tim Hortons Inc. (TSX:HIP) is a Canadian coffee and doughnut chain. The company was founded in 1964 by Tim Horton and his wife, Jeri-Lynn Horton. The company has over 1,600 outlets across Canada. In March 2018, The Globe and Mail reported that the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) had sent a notice to Tim Hortons warning that the company may not be in compliance with securities laws. The OSC is investigating whether the company has broken disclosure rules related to a potential takeover by Burger King Worldwide Inc.

(NYSE:BKW). While the company has not commented on the matter, the OSC has advised the company that it may face penalties if it is found in non-compliance. The company is currently listed on the TSX and the OTCQX. There is no indication at this time that the company will be delisted from either exchange.
