Is Walgreens pain reliever the same as Tylenol?

The active ingredient in both Tylenol and Walgreens pain reliever is acetaminophen. Acetaminophen is a pain reliever and fever reducer.

The main difference between the two products is that Tylenol also contains ibuprofen, which is an anti-inflammatory agent. The American Academy of Pediatrics does not recommend giving ibuprofen to infants, children, or pregnant women because it can cause serious health complications.
