What can I recycle at Tesco?

At Tesco, we’re committed to helping our customers reduce their impact on the environment. We know that recycling can be confusing, so we’ve put together this guide to help you understand what you can recycle at our stores.

Paper and cardboard
All of our stores have paper and cardboard recycling bins. You can recycle anything from newspapers and magazines to cereal boxes and toilet roll tubes. Please make sure that your paper and cardboard is clean, dry and free from food before you put it in the bin.

Plastic bottles
Most of our stores have plastic bottle recycling bins. You can recycle any plastic bottles that have a ‘recycled’ symbol on them, including water, soda and shampoo bottles. Please make sure that the bottles are empty and rinsed before you put them in the bin.

Glass bottles and jars
All of our stores have glass bottle and jar recycling bins. You can recycle any glass bottles or jars, regardless of what they contained originally. Please make sure that the bottles and jars are empty and rinsed before you put them in the bin.

TetraPak cartons
All of our stores have TetraPak carton recycling bins. You can recycle any TetraPak cartons, including those that held milk, soup, juice or wine. Please make sure that the cartons are empty and rinsed before you put them in the bin.

In conclusion, Tesco is committed to helping customers reduce their impact on the environment by recycling common waste items such as paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, glass bottles/jars, and TetraPak cartons.
