What does Instacart look for on background checks?

Instacart is a grocery delivery service that requires its employees to have a criminal background check. In order to be approved to work with Instacart, employees must have completed a criminal background check that includes a national criminal history record check and a state criminal history record check.

The national criminal history record check looks for criminal convictions anywhere in the country, while the state criminal history record check looks for criminal convictions within the state that the employee lives in.

In addition to a criminal background check, Instacart employees must also pass a drug test and a polygraph test. The drug test looks for any past drug use, while the polygraph test looks for any past instances of dishonesty or deceit.
